BACKSTORY:

Valyron was born the rightful heir to the Arkus throne, however he grew up rather spoiled and couldn't see past his arrogant ways for the longest time. When he was only the young age of twenty-nine, he had met a foreigner that washed up the shores of their island and forged a bond that would forever make him the man he is now.

However, because they were human, their life was short and just a blimp in his though he'd forever remember them as the one person who helped him become a king that would justly rule his kingdom. After nearly two centuries, he had nearly enough of the mundane routine, the constant bickering of the council, everything. He would run away from everything to a spot only he knew of just to calm down, however he ran into you- a human trader who managed to wash ashore.

Everything about you reminded him of his old flame, but in no time, it became clear that you were a person of your own. He quickly became infatuated to a point that he could no longer go a day without you by his side. His words became sweet, his actions gentle and careful.
