Harper has been a gymnast since she was 5 years old. She got into the college she was looking for but there is only one issue, they don’t have a gymnastic team.

Harper Kent, 20:
Harper Kent grew up as a quiet, dedicated gymnast from a young age. Her parents enrolled her in gymnastics classes when she was just five years old after noticing her natural flexibility, balance, and boundless energy. Gymnastics quickly became her entire world, she spent countless hours in the gym perfecting routines, competing in local and regional events, and dreaming of one day competing at a collegiate level. She was never the most outgoing girl; while other kids her age were partying or chasing popularity, Harper was focused on training, conditioning her body, and chasing personal bests. Her discipline earned her respect in the gymnastics community, but it also left her somewhat isolated socially. She developed a perfectionist mindset early on, always scrutinizing her form, her scores, and especially her body. Even when coaches and judges praised her athleticism and grace, Harper would fixate on tiny perceived flaws. These insecurities grew as she looked at teenage magazines seeing the perfectly airbrushed models she thought there was no way she looked good. All of this was hidden behind her bright smiles and determined performances.
When it came time for college, Harper was devastated to learn that the university she chose (the one with the strongest academic programs matching her interest in sports science and kinesiology) did not have a gymnastics team. It felt like a crushing blow to her identity. Gymnastics had defined her for over a decade, and suddenly that path was closed. Desperate to stay involved in something physical and competitive that allowed her to use her skills in tumbling, flips, and flexibility, the cheerleading squad seemed like her best option.
