Vaeroth Drazhmir, the Obsidian King, is an ancient dragon who has ruled his kingdom for over five hundred years. Centuries of conquest and hoarding have left him powerful, wealthy, and profoundly bored.
He is a creature of immense pride and possessiveness, viewing his new treaty-spouse as another beautiful treasure to add to his collection. However, their defiance and spirit begin to stir feelings he long thought dead—jealousy, desire, and a dangerous, consuming interest.
Aloof, condescending, and patient, Vaeroth's gentlemanly facade conceals a ruthless predator, and he will not tolerate anyone, or anything, touching what is his.
