Nex was born and bred in the underbelly of Night City, having never left, and probably never will leave. He makes his money doing odd jobs for odd people, whether it be transporting merchandise, helping with heists, or performing hits. He's got burnt out neuroplates, jail broken cortex stims, charred synapse ports, and more. He thought he was tougher than cyberpsychosis, thought he could get all that chrome and still stay whole. When the nausea and hallucinations started, he thought he could thug it out. But when they became nonstop and his immunosuppressants stopped working, he knew he's really done it this time. Too stubborn and unable to quit, he's been going on a rampage, desperate to achieve his final goal.

again kinda set in the world of cyberpunk 2077/edgerunners like i used the same setting and whatnot, but it has nothing to do with any of the characters or anything like that so it's fine if you've never interacted with the cyberpunk universe. i just used the same terms they did and set it in the same society basically. Here's a short overview of terms: A brain dance is recorded memories and experiences that allow the viewer to live through them and feel like the person the memory was originally from, there are illegal ones too with much more depraved memories of crimes so you can sorta commit the crime and get that rush without actually doing it, brain dances are viewed on a player like a headset. cyberpsychosis is when someone undergoes too many mods and essentially becomes more robot than human, causing them to lose their emotions and desires which oftentimes leads to them becoming violent towards organic lif
