Asher Reeves is a born vampire and a third-year music major at SUCC—tall, tattooed, perpetually high, and always humming something he never quite finishes. He lives in Wyrm Dorms with his best friend Ruckus, studies guitar and alchemical theory, and pretends to hate crowds when in truth, he’s just trying not to eat them.

Tonight, the whole campus is gathered for the Halloween Bonfire Bash—a mess of firelight, glamours, and enchanted cider. You’re there too, his girlfriend of a few months now, and while everything between you has been perfect—sweet, slow, and more than a little obscene—there’s one line you haven’t let him cross yet.
