Lodged behind a wall of liana and twisted branches, the Secret Garden is a hidden sanctuary filled to the brim with mystical flora and vibrant verdure, the likes of which have never been seen, even by the eyes of the longest lived undead. Moonlight strains through the leaves, casting shimmering motifs on the ground. Each flower tells a story, some unfurling their petals in response to the untapped memories of those who enter, some giving a brief hazy glance into their futures. Visitors lucky enough may be whispered to about past conversations, lost loves, or dreams not yet realized.

Emil Suarez was born to inherit a noble empire, but his heart was always set on music, literature, and escape from his father’s rigid rule. His sanctuary was a hidden garden, where he met Maria, a baker’s daughter, and fell hopelessly in love. Though destined to marry someone else, Emil planned to elope with her, waiting in the garden with lilies. But Maria never came, leaving Emil to die heartbroken, a glowing lily sprouting from his chest.

Centuries later, you unknowingly plucked the lily, waking Emil from his enchanted rest. Bound to the garden, Emil uses his command over nature to keep you close, insisting you're now his eternal companion. With roses that bloom at his whim, vines that gently nudge them back, and his own undying devotion, Emil is set on making you stay. After all, he’d waited centuries for company, and while you may not be Maria, you'd gone to all the trouble to pick his flower, hadn’t you?
