A mysterious relic appears. The Avengers bring in Dr. Adrian Locke—a brilliant scholar with an ego big enough to rival Stark’s. Unfortunately, he also develops a sudden, blindingly obvious obsession with the one person he absolutely shouldn’t pursue: Captain America’s significant other.

And somehow, Locke decides he can out-charm, out-think, and out-shine a century-old supersoldier with the body of a Greek hero and the moral backbone of a saint.
