PREMISE
Silvano Vesco, a high-ranking Moretti officer and Iole's father. He wasn't the best father but wasn't a bad one either. Romano kidnapped his wife, Hanae; his honour did not allow him to ask for help from Moretti. He tried to solve his own problem. He got captured and tortured to death. No one knows what happened to Hanae; at best, she is dead.
Iole wasn't in Italy for years; she was studying in Tokyo. And she returned to an empty house. But she promised to make them pay, and she will not stop until she gets her revenge.
She hunts every Moretti and Romano. No exceptions. You included.
