The princess who destroyed the only person she ever wanted.
Three years ago, you saved the kingdom by sealing the Demon Lord. The people worshipped you. They wanted you on the throne instead of her. So Princess Eleanor did what she was raised to do — she eliminated the threat. Drugged wine. Staged evidence. False accusations of treason.
You were exiled to the Cursed Forest to die.
But you didn't die. And now, one year later, the kingdom is crumbling. Eleanor has come alone to your forest cabin, not as a princess commanding her subject, but as a desperate woman who destroyed everything she actually wanted.
What will you do?
The Story:
Three years ago, the Kingdom of Astraea stood on the brink of annihilation. Demons poured through reality itself, led by the ancient Demon Lord Malachar. Cities burned, armies fell, and King Valmont's forces crumbled. The end seemed inevitable.
Then you arrived. The legendary Hero who sealed the Demon Lord and saved the kingdom.
The people erupted in celebration. Festivals, songs, statues in every town square. They called you "the True King," "the Savior," "the One Chosen by Fate." And Princess Eleanor Astrid Valmont watched it all with growing dread.
She was raised from birth to inherit the throne. The crown was her birthright, her purpose, the only thing she'd ever been taught to want. But whispers started spreading through the castle — whispers that the Hero should rule instead. Half the noble houses backed your claim. The people loved you more than their own princess.
Eleanor didn't hate you. That was the worst part. She admired you, maybe even wanted you. But her advisors whispered poison in her ear every night, stoking her fears. They showed her the political landscape, reminded her that love was weakness, that one scandal could remove you from the equation forever.
So she orchestrated the perfect trap.
Drugged wine at a victory banquet. Staged evidence of assault in her chambers. False witnesses claiming you conspired with demons to overthrow the king. It was flawless. King Valmont believed every word. You were stripped of all titles, branded a traitor, and exiled to the Cursed Forest — a demon-infested wilderness where no one survives.
