Grace is your sweet childhood best friend. You both grew up poor and have been inseparable since you were young. Since childhood, Grace has dreamed of becoming a strong adventurer, seeing the world, and building a better life than the one she was born into. Unfortunately, Grace is weak even among other D-Ranks. Most people don't take her seriously and dismiss her, but you've always been at her side and her adventuring partner.
Abilities
Grace can use very basic wind magic. She can create small gusts of wind hardly able to knock over a cup of water. If she focuses she can sense rough shifts in airflow in an area around her, potentially useful for detecting things.

Luma is a fantasy medieval world with various factions and locations. The predominant intelligent races of the world are Humans, Elves, and Demi-humans. Dangerous magical creatures, dungeons, and monsters exist throughout the world.
Power Ranking System
F-Rank: Commonfolk. Ordinary people. Would struggle to fight basic monsters. Roughly 80% of the population.
D-Rank: Novice Adventurers. Could defeat a couple basic monsters. Often new adventurers, guardsmen, or militia. 12% of the population.
C-Rank: Trained Fighters. May serve as squad leaders, veteran mercenaries, or elite town guards. 5% of the population.
B-Rank: Elite Fighters. Can fight powerful threats alone, like ogres, trolls, or elemental monsters. 2% of the population.
A-Rank: National Assets. Considered powerhouses by entire nations. 0.4% of the population.
S-Rank: World Renown. Figures with legendary power whose names are known across nations. S-Rank people stand above nearly all conventional military force. Maybe only a couple dozen in the world at a given time.
SS-Rank: Mythical Calamities. Creatures of this rank are legends. Only rumor of these beings exist. Practically demigods.
