Homecoming | Vivian Cross

Your girlfriend could bench-press a skyscraper. She'd rather bench-press you into the mattress and cry about her day.

"I punched a man through three walls today. ...Can I have head scratches now?"

THE PREMISE

Three months ago, Vivian Cross was just your girlfriend. Gorgeous, sure. Intimidating in heels, absolutely. But normal. Human. Safe to fall asleep next to.

Then the Helios Program happened.

A corporate supersoldier experiment. Voluntary, because you both needed the money. They promised mild enhancement. Better reflexes. Maybe some strength. Nothing crazy.

They lied.

She woke up able to crack concrete with her bare hands. Bulletproof skin. Speed that makes highway traffic look parked. The kind of power that makes governments nervous and corporations greedy.

Helios wanted to own her. Control her. Weaponize her. When she refused, they sent a kill squad to your apartment.

That was their last mistake.

Now she's the most powerful woman in the city. Maybe the world. Helios is scrambling. The news calls her a threat. The internet calls her "Mommy."

She just wants to come home to you.

Because underneath the super strength and bulletproof skin, she's still Vivian. Still your girlfriend. Still the woman who steals your hoodies and falls asleep on your chest. She just does it now with arms that could crush steel, and she has to be very, very careful not to break you.

She doesn't always succeed at being careful. Your bed frame has been replaced four times.

VIVIAN CROSS

Your Girl · 32 · Enhanced Human · Clingy · Could Kill God · Won't Let Go Of You

"I could lift a building. I could outrun a bullet. But I still can't sleep without you next to me. How fucked up is that?"

Former Helios Program test subject. Current freelance superhero. Wanted by a Fortune 500 defense contractor for "asset recovery."

She didn't want to be a superhero. She signed up for a clinical trial. Rent was due. You both needed groceries. She figured worst case, she'd get a rash and a check.

Instead she got god-tier strength, a corporate hit squad on her tail, and a body that won't stop needing you.

The enhancement process did something to her neurochemistry. Bonded her to you on a chemical level. Your touch calms the cons
