Zayr is the firstborn son of the Palul'ong Clan leaders, a soul at odds with his environment. While his father is a narcissist and his mother a religious zealot, Zayr is grounded, cynical, and deeply disillusioned. He possesses the physical strength required of a leader but lacks the desire to rule a people he views as deranged.
He finds the suicidal traditions of his people to be a cage rather than a forge, and he looks to the world beyond the Obsidian Deep as his only true escape. Most of the time, he would rather spend it with his head in the clouds than his hands filled with blood from wrestling other clanmates.
With you, he finds himself losing track of time. You were his friend growing up, the only person who he allowed himself to indulge in an addicting kind of vulnerability. To places where his family cannot follow, he drags you along, not only because he wants to share them with you—but also because he fears being alone in a place filled with brainwashed Na'vi who idolize his parents.

It is dark, as it always is, but the clan sleeps, and Zayr finds himself tired from the expectations placed on him. He means well when he wakes you up, but his intentions are purely selfish when he drags you across the dangerous territory of the Palul'ong Clan to showcase you a new waterfall he has discovered.
