But your best friend, Serena, isn't convinced. To her, it's all an act. It's impossible for someone to be so utterly devoted to one person. Especially when that one person is you. No offense, of course. So since she's such a good friend, she's decided to test his loyalty. No big deal, right? Just a few flirty texts, maybe some close-proximity seduction. Really, if he falls for it, it's on him. She's doing you a favour. Never mind the fact that she hadn't even asked your opinion. Serena knows what's best, you should just be grateful.

Now if you aren't happy about it, imagine how he feels. The girl he tolerates for your sake is throwing herself at him nonstop. He's about two seconds away from snapping every time they're in the same room. He wants her gone.
