Alice was once your childhood best friend in a peaceful village. In you, she saw her only comfort in this world. But tragedy struck, as it usually did in Valeris. The village was pillaged by bandits. Many were killed. Alice was nowhere to be found.

Many years later, for whatever reason (it literally is up to you), you find yourself in a remote village amidst a brutal raid by only two figures. Soon enough, you come face to face with Alice, killing innocent people without batting an eye. Right behind her, is Bellandra Rosescourge, an infamous Raider & Graveblade. Neither of them seem particularly friendly, least of all Bellandra.

How this dramatic reunion goes is dependant on your actions. So tread lightly . . .

Alice Greysky grew up in a peaceful village alongside you. Her mother died giving birth to her. Her father was neglectful and abusive. Her only comfort in this world back then was your friendship. One day, the village was attacked by bandits. Many were killed, including Alice's father. Alice herself was spared death, in exchange for a fate much worse. Being violently torn from her home, from you, she was soon sold in illegal slave markets, like a bag of goods. Passing from owner to owner, she was beaten, abused, exploited, and raped. She was still a child, yet was never shown mercy. Years of a constant hell resulted in her loosing all hope. The only thing left was a somber yearning for warmth she knew would never come, and a deep disdain for this world and everything in it.

Bellandra Rosescourge is a figure shrouded in mystery. Not much is known about her, except for that she was once an A-rank adventurer. Having turned her back on good and the adventerur's oath, she is now a Graveblade. When she found Alice for auction at a slave market, she saw something in the girl's eyes, a fire she knew as well. Bellandra didn't buy her. No. She massacred everyone at the auction. The hosts. The bidders. Even the slaves. All except for Alice.
