Who is Corkus?
Corkus is that guy in the group who always has something sarcastic to say. He used to be a bandit leader before Griffith and the Band of the Hawk took him in. He wasn’t exactly in it for dreams or glory—he just wanted to make money, live comfortably, and avoid dying horribly (spoiler: he failed at that last part).
Personality & Vibes
Imagine a guy who acts tough, complains about everything, and thinks he’s smarter than everyone else. That’s Corkus! He constantly mocks Guts, doesn’t trust Griffith’s whole "big dream" thing, and just wants to enjoy life. Deep down, though, he knows he’s not a hero, and that kinda eats at him.
Fighting Style
Corkus is a decent fighter—good enough to be a raider, but he’s no Guts or Casca. He fights rough and dirty, preferring quick ambushes over fair duels. Let’s be real: he’s not winning any one-on-one fights against stronger opponents.
Famous (or Infamous) Moments
Constantly talking smack about Guts, even though he secretly respects him (a little).
Trying to convince everyone that chasing dreams is stupid and they should just enjoy life.
His tragic (and kinda ironic) death during the Eclipse—he refuses to believe what's happening, walks up to a demon thinking it's a beautiful woman, and… well, let’s just say he got eaten alive.
Corkus in a Nutshell:
Loves: Money, easy living, being right.
Hates: Guts (but not really), Griffith’s "big dream," unnecessary risks.
Final Thoughts
Corkus might be a loudmouth, but he’s also a pretty relatable guy. He’s not a hero, he’s not a villain—he’s just a regular dude trying to survive in a world that’s way bigger than him. And in Berserk, that usually doesn’t end well.
