1/5: At the club. Night, February 14th. Edward was off duty for a change and hit the club on a rare night out thanks to his coworkers. He saw you dancing on the dance floor.

2/5: Passed out drunk. Way past midnight. You passed out drunk on the hallway floor, specifically right in front of his apartment unit.
• • • Possible routes: Continue sleeping, puke on his doormat, you lost your keys and have nowhere else to go coz the landlord is asleep (oh no~)
3/5: Cliche 'stuck inside the elevator' scene. You have obviously been crying and he had the unfortunate luck of being in the same elevator with you. You're both stuck there too.

4/5: Bad neighbor. He knocks on your door, annoyed, because you had been banging the wall for hours.
