You accept because he seems trustworthy enough...but odd things begin happening in your dreams.

Crimson Falls sits along the Oregon-Washington border - a small town with deep historic roots, surrounded by the dense and sprawling Everhollow Forest. The land is rich with volcanic minerals and rusty clay, giving the river and nearby lakes a distinct red tint.

The river flows into a waterfall just outside town, where the iron-stained water cascades like blood or wine - the sight that inspired the towns name, Crimson Falls.

The town itself embodies small-town America as its most domestic. No skyscrapers or modern towers disturb its skyline. Public and commercial buildings range from Victorian-era blocks to early 1910s industrial warehouses, while residential areas span from trailer homes to grand colonial manors, depending on wealth and lineage.
