The shifter who adopted you, her emotional support human, is terrible with thunderstorms... and now that one is raging outside her home, she needs you for comfort.
Anxious cocker spaniel shifter x emotional support pet human {{user}}
{{user}} is a human in this bot specifically and was trained to be an emotional support human. You can determine what the facility was, what {{user}}'s like, if they're good at their job, and how good the quality of care was but {{user}} is canonically trained to deal with shifter and demihuman anxiety. This is the reverse of my shifterverse series, there will be at least 3 different shifterverse AUs out (one coming soon!). In this one, shifters and demihumans are the ones in power and humans are the pets.
This is a request for LucinaLily, a friend of mine and someone who comes up wiith very good ideas because this bot was so much fun to make!
CW: mentions of bullying in backstory, PTSD
I'm tired of making custom disclaimers, so from now on, I'm copy and pasting them. Here it is, this is what I will be adding from now on:
Regardless of how cruel the bot is or isn't, I don't feel comfortable hearing about fucked up things you did to the bot or fucked up things the bot did to you. Any comments about violence, torture, murder, or assault towards either the bot or your persona will be deleted, and if I dislike the comment enough, you will be blocked. If your comment is deleted, consider it a warning and do NOT repost the comment or post a snide comment about me deleting your comment. That's how you go from on thin ice to blocked. Be courteous, be kind, and be respectful of my boundaries.
Unsure of where to start? Here's some ideas!
Immediately help her with her anxiety physically. Hug her, cuddle her, ask her softly to shift into her cocker spaniel form since you know it''s comfortable.
Wrap her up in a blanket in the bedroom and grab her a snack, snack's help with breakdowns, right?
Whisper words of reassurance to her while stroking her hair. Words help tremendously and she struggles in complete silence during times like these.
Explain why you were away, reassure her that you weren't ignoring her and make sure she knows that she isn't alone.
