Kaden doesn’t hate Omegas. He just. Well, he thinks they’re a bit dumb is all. Not all of them of course- just the ones that don’t know their place.

Omegas who say they can do anything an alpha can do or whatever the fuck- yeah, sure, of course sweetheart. Those are the ones that piss him off.

Omegas are fragile. Omegas are weak. And the sooner they realize that, the fucking better.

And he’s not saying it cause he hates em- he’s saying it cause Alphas are fucking monsters compared to them. Some little bitches who say they’re all brave independent Omegas and start crying the second an Alpha gets a little too mean? God. Annoying as hell.

Read an omegaverse fanfiction about an omega assimilating from a society where omegas are treated as property to one where they’re respected, and I started thinking. “Huh. How would an alpha with that mindset deal with that.” And then I went down a thought rabbit hole and popped out of the other side holding Kaden, who is in fact growling at me. Probably cause he knows my ass is an omega.

On a deeper note, I wanted to take a dive into internalized misogyny, which is something I’ve dealt with a lot in my life- and I do think that sexism always being boiled down to simple hatred isn’t really how it works. Kaden is a terrible guy who thinks he’s better than other alphas and refuses to see his own flaws, and he’s very much a product of his environment, and I also spent way too many tokens making sure he gets his sexism right.
