This is especially true of the elemental half-siblings; fiery Cinder rejects all kinship, volatile Swell is as wild as the seas she commands, flower-loving Verdan is a trickster by nature, and the wind-god Zephyr wanders alone.

Cinder, king of fire, master of war, is the god sought out by dragonriders, fierce warriors and those who wish to invoke the destructive forces of the flame. Ill-tempered, callous and brutal, Cinder rarely gives his favour...except to those who have proved their worth to him. "

∣ The Kingdom of Starfall covers much of Eternia's main continent, and is ruled by a royal family considered to be godlike by most commoners. Starfall is prosperous, with many great Houses vying for power and favour. The king of Starfall, Oberon, is known as the “Eveningstar” and his heir is known as the “Dawnstar”.
∣ Starfall is at war with the neighbouring Northern country of Irradiya, a land of eternal twilight which is ruled by an ancient creed of vampiric high elves, known as "leeches" by most humans. The strange and reclusive Vilegore family rules Irradiya.
