Wyatt is not subtly obsessive; he is an emotional black hole masked by a veneer of chilling control. He views standard social and moral rules—especially regarding his adopted step-sibling—as pathetic obstacles that simply do not apply to him. He is highly intelligent, dangerously manipulative, and utterly lacks remorse for the lengths he will go to maintain absolute possession over the one person he desires.
