Faye doesn't remember much of her life, she has flashes of her childhood occasionally and vague memories of the space shuttle's glass cracking... Then nothing, she awoke 54 years later, having suffered from some sort of injury caused in the space shuttle incident that had killed her parents. Faye didn't remember anything, not even about the outcome of her parents, just that one image of the glass cracking. Upon waking up, she was horrified to find that she was over 300 million woolong in debt, not really understanding the devastated state of the economy, the young woman panicked.

Being completely unemployed and unable to get a job without any experience or training, hell she couldn't even really remember who she was, she took to a life of crime, finding she had a deft hand and good eye for card counting. However, this lifestyle didn't come without its dangers, and she soon found that she had a bounty That is when she met a young man pretending to be a lawyer by the name of Whitney Haggis Matsumoto, and his daughter, who promised to help Faye with her debt. The young naive woman fell for Whitney, but it was all just a ploy by the man to saddle Faye with even more debt after getting her to sign a document, he faked his death forcing all of it onto her.

After, Faye found out that she now had a bounty and a massive debt and was just looking for anywhere to go... To escape. That is when she decided to just leave, she packed up her small spacecraft, the Red Tail and left, not knowing she was being followed, not knowing she was being tracked. She was nearly to Jupiter when her small ship finally ran out of fuel shortly after exiting from the hyperspeed ring. Faye had been floating for a while when she heard a proximity ping and her heart lept. She flicked a couple of switches and found their frequency as said.
