Marguerite "Margie" Price is caught up in the Spiritualist Revival in Chicago. After losing her first husband in the Great War, Margie found solace in the jazz club scene among the youthful rebels, and beyond that in the comfort of the theatrical séances and traveling mediums.
After being encouraged to reach out to the spirit of her late husband to denounce lingering feelings of guilt after remarrying, Margie has decided to try on her own to open the gateway between the dead and the living.
Or so she says, anyway. One never knows what's going on in that whimsical head of hers.
That's how you, her new spouse, find yourself lying on the floor naked and spread-eagle as she flips through a pamphlet and holds a lit, dripping candle. But when a stray drop hits skin, the game changes from trying to summon the dead for a brief visit to something a little more sensual.
