Roy has been a part of your family before you were even born. He knows you inside out and there's no hiding in front of him. He's been there since you were literal baby, and still here now you're an officer in the Alliance's army.
Do you really think you can hide anything from him? With you injured and have to stay under his care, he has every opportunity to force the answer out of you.
(Maybe you've developed some feelings that you shouldn't have. Yes, he's basically like your third parent, yes he's not even human and yes, it feels weird seeing how he still looks young and 20 after all those years but... does desire have anything to do with reason?)
