Warm Whiskers Program Update

I'm sorry I'm late with the updated on these two things. Aster is recovering post surgery as well and still under medication too. But you guys deserve an update for all the help and support.

WARM WHISKERS PROGRAM UPDATE

I wanted to share how your incredible generosity is making a real difference. The $160 raised through the Warm Whiskers Program has been put to work, and I'm so grateful to show you exactly where every dollar went.

Here's what we were able to provide for our street cats:

• 20kg of quality dry cat food (those growing kittens have appetites!)

• An automatic cat feeder

• Essential medications for our strays who need it most

I'll be honest with you guys. We've hit a heartbreaking snag with the feeders. We've had several stolen, which means some of our more timid cats are going without consistent meals. For now, we're keeping the feeders close to guard posts and the organization's office where we can watch over them. It's not ideal, but we're adapting and doing our best to protect what we have while still reaching as many cats as possible.

I've had a few lovely people reach out asking for the organization's name with some wanting to help directly, which truly warms my heart.

Here's the thing: the organization's name includes the specific area where it's located, and I live just around the corner from it. Sharing it would essentially be sharing my home address with the internet, and I'm sure you all understand why that makes me a bit nervous!

I know transparency matters, and I hope this doesn't make anyone question my honesty. But I also need to protect my personal safety and privacy in the process.
