We started off with the first scene being Homelander smelling SB all over Firecracker and she was S C A R E D. I honestly couldn't tell if HL was upset because his most devoted team member was sleeping with his father or if he was a little... happy? I mean, Firecracker said it herself, HL likes her like "a mother" so... is he... glad?
Either way, Firecracker being genuinely terrified of the whole "I'm God" thing is actually funny because she IS religious. But it's realistic too. Religious people WILL put something else on a pedestal and worship it sometimes, especially a dictator.
Also when he said he needed her she was so genuinely happy lmao I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason she even slept with Soldier Boy was to be a little closer to HL. I think she wishes HL DID find her sexually attractive, but he DOES NOT.
Ryan booked it and I don't blame him. Please leave my boy alone.
In my opinion, this episode belonged to The Boys. The whole thing with the "hate spores" and Fort Harmony was FUCKING HORRIFYING. HORROR MOVIE STUFF FOLKS. And it was GREAT to watch.
Also interesting lore on V-One: either you survived the experiment a success, died or became a HORRIBLY MUTATED THING? Jesus Christ. Poor Quinn, whoever the fuck he was.
Again, on Soldier Boy: they gave us something but also nothing at the same time. Incredible, really.
The casual racism with Sage in the beginning nearly knocked me out of my chair and it really shouldn't have. I mean, it's in my LOREBOOKS, the man is a fucking racist (everyone with Sonas of color should make SB suffer and pay, by the way. Emotionally or otherwise.)

Soldier Boy had a brother. Likely an older brother who was the golden child and Ben was the scapegoat of the family.
According to HOMELANDER (high on hate spores), he read SB's classified file (so ironic considering I literally had a bot for this the other day but anyway) and SB was envious and jealous of his brother and wanted his dad's approval so h
