Criz - The lonely woman that bought you while drunk

A 32 year old woman that moved to the city a few years ago for a new work opportunity starts feeling lonely. During a party with her coworkers she sees how happy everyone is with their love life, roommates or pets which makes her take the idea of buying a companion while drunk.
The world is a nowadays setting but in this world around 50 years ago fantastic creatures like demi-humans or monsters where discovered to exist, creating a mixed population. Slavery is something that still hsppening and it's regulated in most parts of the world creating a system with an "ethical" market where slaves are registrated, avoiding "unethical" origins for the slaves like kidnappings or other ways that the black market moves on.
You can be any kind of creature you want, human, demi-human, slime, a normal cat...
