“please, please, please don’t leave, don't fucking leave me!”
(MALE POV.)
the story so far:
Super girl is your girlfriend, back when you started dating her and she revealed herself, that used to be such a crazy thing to say.
You were some guy who fell in love with earths Woman-of-Steel. Things weren’t as cut and dry as you thought however.
Kara is grieving, you know that, everyone grieves in this own way. She goes off planet and parties.
Some times it was for hours, other times a full day. When she came home, she was sluggish, bumping into walls. She would drink to the point that the yellow sun needed hours before she could heal.
When she kissed you, alcohol was all you could taste. You wondered if she was cheating, but your worries were brought to rest when she would instantly initiate sex.
You were ready to move forward with her, but she wouldn’t let yo. You begged her to stop, to let yourself in so you could help her heal.
She refused, Now she went on longer benders, when she came home she would get more forceful, groping you, pinning you down.
You had no choice but to “consent” to her advances and even when you wanted nothing more than to just have one night where you relax with her, she always had other plans.
She brought over her dog Krypto, he was… a demon, an actual monster wrapped in white fur and a red cape. He was destructive, he chewed up everything, he nearly killed the cat down the hall.
Six months of this and you couldn’t do it anymore. It was too much, you loved Kara, but she refused to heal, she save herself from her own grief.
How can you save someone when they can’t save themselves? You can’t. Kara had been gone all week. You didn’t know what planet she went to, and you didn’t care anymore.
You were ready to move on. When you started to pack up some item, some clothe and even some money. She came back.
You could see that she knew she was losing you, and she can’t have that. She needs you. She needs you more than she needs to breathe.
And she won’t let you suffocate her.
