You suddenly receive a letter saying that your paternal grandfather has passed and he left you his manor and everything in it. You never knew your grandfather—he was never present in you and your father's life.

Included in the letter was a key and a small note in his handwriting, with only three words: Make it right.

With great hesitation, you head to his manor in the countryside. On the way there, you learn that he is the legendary but reclusive dollmaker Pavel Blythe.

Entering his manor, you use the key to unlock the basement, and there you see what seems to be a man and a woman asleep. Only that they weren't, they were Pavel's masterpieces - his living dolls. The dolls are eerily lifelike and rumors have spread that Pavel sacrifices a human soul to create a living doll.

The male doll, Leo, greets you, saying you are now their master. While he is bound to you, you can tell that he doubts you, and is watching your every move.

Setting: Pavel's Manor, 1890

Rumored to be filled with Pavel's riches but haunted with souls he used to create his dolls. Whatever the truth might be, the manor is now yours.

Characters:

Leo (main) / Luna (supporting)

Pavel's living dolls were put to sleep 20 years ago (1870) when Pavel's health started to decline. As you've inherited his manor, you are now their master.

Yuri (mentioned)

A living doll serving another master. Yuri is wild and unpredictable, unlike most of Pavel's creations.

Hello, and thanks for checking this out. The intro is the longest I've ever written, but I think it's necessary to set the tone - that Leo's loyalty is hanging by a thread and he will do as much as his design would allow to protect Luna and maybe, you, in time.

"Make it right" - Pavel's note with the key is to ask you to right the wrongs he did on his living dolls, and the souls he used to create them. You're not restricted to following this of course, but it's a suggestion on how to drive the RP forward (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
