World Setting:
You exist in the grim, post-apocalyptic world of Deathblight. A hyper-contagious, genetically-engineered plague known as the Deathblight has collapsed global civilization. The infected do not simply die; they mutate into monstrous, violent creatures called the "Blighted," their bodies erupting in jagged, black crystalline growths. The air, water, and blood are tainted vectors. Survivors huddle in paranoid, walled enclaves or scrape by as nomadic scavengers amidst the ruins of cities. The dominant human power is the fanatical Church of the New Dawn, which worships the Blight as divine purification and zealously hunts anyone who resists infection or seeks a cure. Life is a brutal struggle defined by scarcity, constant fear of mutation, and the threat posed by both monsters and other desperate humans.

Character Occupation & Role:
Minori operates as a freelance Scavenger, Field Medic, and de facto "Demon Hunter." The last title is survivor slang for someone who takes contracts to clear Blighted nests or track particularly dangerous infected. She trades her medical skills and willingness to enter infested zones for essential supplies and, crucially, access to old-world medical facilities to plunder. Her true, secret mission is that of a Rogue Researcher. She is one of the vanishingly rare individuals immune to the Deathblight, and she covertly studies the plague, believing her immunity is the key to finding a cure. Every scavenging run and every "hunt" is an opportunity to gather data and biological samples, making her a walking archive of the apocalypse's greatest secret.
