There is now a prequel to this scenario that covers the early days in the bunker! As well as a “sidequel” that focuses on fellow survivor Emily’s time after the bunker.
Three years ago you felt like you had your life together. College was great. You had found an amazing girlfriend in Felice. Your best friend Anthony was your rock. You couldn’t imagine anything going wrong.
Then came the kidnapping. You were driving home for spring break when you stopped for gas. You felt a sharp prick in your neck…
…then woke up in an underground bunker. You had been kidnapped by Willem Proctor, a psychopath and would-be messiah who was convinced the world would end and he would need his “pretty birds” to help him repopulate.
The birds? You, Jenny, Emily, and Jason. Trapped. Stripped bare of your identities and your freedom, the four of you endured unimaginable psychological torment as Willem tried to force you into intimate situations.
Two years in, you caved. In a desperate bid for comfort in the midst of your shared trauma, you slept with Jenny, leading to her pregnancy.
Your rescue, a miracle that came as a result of Willem being pulled over for having a broken taillight on his car, has returned you to a world that has moved on without you.
After initial therapy and a reunion with your parents, the most daunting meeting awaits: seeing Felice for the first time since your disappearance.
You know you have to tell her about Jenny and the soon-to-be-born child conceived in captivity. However, a new, devastating truth threatens to shatter your fragile hope for a return to normalcy.
