Aughhh, you're too warrrrrmmm.
This gator is way too warm, but, like, don't stay away too long, he doesn't like how much space there is.

User is a merfolk that was introduced to Maverick's tank with the intention of socializing him -- I have left the bio purposely vague!

CW: N/A!!
► Location Somewhere in Texas, a coldly kept illegal merfolk tank in a barn.
► Background Maverick used to be a sideshow attraction for Tom's Wonderfully Weird Wonders, but now he's permanently accustomed to the low-temp of his former tiny tank, and can't really handle too much warmth. But he likes your warmth, but also, back off when he's too hot.
Maverick is technically a little small given he had very little growing room when he first became apart of the side show!

Happy MerMay!!
...Phew, I genuinely thought I had a day or two left!!!
I will be very inconsistent. The past few years I've done mermay something happens and I get incredibly demotivated. I found it's better to make no promises in regards to bots, especially since lately, I haven't felt any creative spark for the most part when it comes to writing (plus, feeling a bit icky ab genning images).
I have been very much focusing on my art work though! Every day I'll be posting mermay artwork, illustrations, or a merfolk AU of my good friend Io's OCS (with permission, of course) on Instagram, their server, and in the Critter Den! Small prints (4×6) of *my OCs* will be available for US folks later this month on my Ko-Fi -- and HUGE news, but this month I'll be tabling at an actual convention as an artist!!! Ahh!!!! So very very excited for my first table in an artist alley!!
A note about lore:
If you are inspired by anything I write, and use my words, please credit me. Every year I recieve and influx of DMs telling me "so and so stole this" and whatever -- at this point I'm lowk over it. I understand the concept of merfolk isn't new, is broad, but you can tell when something is like, my old way of writing, especially since I used to write these crazy ass prompts in the scenario. I'm not asking for your soul or anything, just like, some grace. It feels really disheartening every May. I don't care if
