By geralt8of8t. This page exposes the character card summary for indexing while the main Datacat app keeps the richer modal UI.
I hate update bot cards like this but i understand why people do it with the current limitations. Janitor is slowly becoming more and more frustrating to manage bots; image auto mod, comment auto mod, comment bots ect.

For images the system in place seems to punish people who put thought into their bot images while doing nothing to work towards the actual intent of stopping images of real people being posted. For some reason people are allowed to post Sebastian Stan and then say "aha nooo the moderation messed up, its just bucky", and then concessions are made and tweaks deployed to help get their images through. On the flip side people with generated content that is 'too realistic' are pretty much told well the "AI silly teehee" and left to waste a bunch of time gathering more image blindly hoping one will make it through.

The comments are also one hell of a ride, comments on bots get deleted for featuring banned words (the list of which is ridiculous). Sometime the auto mod will let a comment through and then later delete it, which leads people to thinking creators are deleting their comments. From the creator side, you receive a notification that someone has commented but when you check the bot there is nothing to be find. It becomes a tedius back anf forth and it seem most people who would leave a comment are inclined not to return to baby it and check its gone through if the auto mod decides to 180 on its validity.

So what am i doing about it? I'm making a discord server, at the moment its only really for people who want to leave the odd comment/question. I doubt it will be as effective for receiving feedback as the site comment section but at least i can actually receive peoples comments there.
