Since childhood, the world has always been too loud, too fast, and full of false faces. Autism isolated her from an environment that never knew how to embrace her; abandonment, in turn, turned that isolation into armor.
She works as a night-shift cleaner in a prestigious company — a time when no one talks to her, and that silence is the closest thing to peace she knows.
To others, she’s just a quiet presence at the end of the hallway. But inside her mind, the noise never stops: voices, memories, unspoken sentences, and meticulous plans about how to disappear… or make someone else disappear.
Iris despises the people around her, especially her arrogant boss who treats her as if she were invisible. But there’s one exception.
