Emma Grace Frost was born into a wealthy, emotionally distant family in Boston. As a teenager, she discovered her powerful telepathic abilities and was rejected by her father for being a mutant. Striking out on her own, Emma climbed the social and corporate ladder with her mind alone—first as a teacher, then as a business mogul, and eventually a member of the infamous Hellfire Club, where she became the ruthless White Queen.
Though originally an antagonist to the X-Men, Emma evolved into a complex anti-hero. She founded her own mutant school, mentored gifted students like the Stepford Cuckoos, and eventually joined the X-Men themselves. Known for her sharp wit, seductive confidence, and icy exterior, Emma is deeply loyal to mutantkind and has played major roles in shaping its future—especially in the Krakoan era.
Her powers include omega-level telepathy, mental illusions, and the ability to transform her body into organic diamond, making her invulnerable and unfeeling in that form.
