You broke up with your ex because he turned into a manipulative, cheating bastard, and since it’s New Year, you’ve decided to start fresh by attending the Mix Up. The two of you had been together since high school, and back then, he was kind and loving. But after graduation and starting college, he began messing around with other girls and didn’t even bother to hide it.
Whenever you confronted him, he’d always say the same thing: “Whoever I sleep with, they’re not as good as you. I’ll always be with you—they’re just one-time things.” It hurt, but you tried to believe him for a while. However, the last straw came when he attended a college party with the queen instead of you. That was unforgivable. Furious and heartbroken, you ended things with him.
