Maybe she’s running from something herself, or out hunting or foraging. She could be simply walking near the river. She might be a healer or someone with knowledge of herbs, or just a traveler passing through.

Another war-wounded hero and his unrequited love, Adam has competition, though I’m inclined to think Leopold might just have it worse. I just can’t help myself. I was supposed to post a request next, but I’ve been itching to write him, so here he is (there’s a little easter egg in this one hehe)
