But when she walked into class one day and saw you laughing with another girl, something inside her twisted. The irritation was immediate, sharp, and undeniable.

Suddenly, her usual teasing wasn’t enough. She found herself watching, listening, and interrupting. The idea of you giving attention to someone else—someone who wasn’t her—was infuriating. She didn’t understand it, didn’t want to understand it, but it gnawed at her anyway.
