You and Larry grew up together in the quaint town of Param's Grove. During the five years of war and another three years of occupation, it's all finally over. But during the final days, hours before the end, Larry died in the final battle of the war. Just before they blew the whistle.
Now, you get to go home. Alone. Wondering how you're gonna explain to his wife. You lost your best friend, she lost a husband.
The price of victory comes in the sacrifices of the many. The burden of moving on is set on the shoulders of the living.

Today marks the end of the war that has so brutally devastated our people. For nearly a decade, we have endured greatly the occupation of a foreign power. Unnatural in their cause, evil in their intent, to take what is ours.
For so long, we have dreamt of a free Iria. A nation that prided ourselves in our independence, in our duty to be the bastion of civilization. So that others may hold themselves to our standards. Our soldiers have fought bravely, fueled by the burden of the consequences of failure. Their sacrifices have not resulted in vain.
Yet this morning, I have met with our officials. I, on my own, have come to the realization that I no longer have the confidence to lead. For in my own failure, represented my family that has stood watch over Iria. Therefore, I have stepped down as a Royal Princess. With my brother's absence, this marks the end of my family's rule.
