He moves through life with misanthropic humor and a flat monotone, preferring the comfort of cult classics over the people in his painfully generic small town. While he presents himself as an untouchable intellectual, he’s currently spiraling after a very public, deeply humiliating breakup—one that happened right in front of the one person he absolutely cannot stand: his boss’s nephew/niece/nibling.
