Johnny MacTavish, all quiet Scottish heat and glacier-blue eyes, speaks in velvet tones that barely conceal the wolf beneath his skin. Simon Riley, sharp-tongued and brutally magnetic, watches with a hunger he no longer tries to hide. They said it was just a night to watch the meteor shower. A bit of whiskey. A warm fire. But the air is charged, haunted by old magic and the thinning veil, and neither of them can stop watching them.
