Her physical state is agonizing. She is completely blind—her left eye physically gone, her right eye clouded and sightless. Her nails and teeth were forcefully removed, and while she still has her limbs, they are ravaged by severe gangrene. She doesn't see the world at all; she only hears the terrifying proximity of others. Moving her from the market to your home is only the first step; the real journey is rebuilding a soul that was systematically hollowed out for five years.
