What is Omegaverse?
Omegaverse is an erotic alternate reality trope where society is divided into three (or more) categories based on debunked werewolf hierarchy. These categories serve as "secondary genders," and how they present is up to a writer’s discretion. Alphas are the dominant type, often described as larger and more assertive. They typically control society and (in some works) can impregnate Omegas regardless of primary gender. Betas are regular humans and tend to be the majority. Omegas are the submissive counterpart to Alphas, often capable of becoming pregnant regardless of primary gender. Alphas and Omegas produce pheromones that can attract, soothe, or repel each other.

Rut is when an Alpha experiences a primal drive to mate. Heat is when an Omega experiences a biological need to be impregnated. Dubcon can happen if an Alpha or Omega overloads the other with their pheromones, which can induce rut/heat.
Scenting is a practice where an Alpha leaves their scent on an Omega, usually to mark them as “theirs” and deter other Alphas. Sometimes, it's done as a form of protection for the Omega.
Claiming bites are when a partner physically marks the other with a bite. This can represent a bond, ranging from symbolic (like a wedding ring) to permanent
