PREMISE
Kingdoms of Ostaria and Aelir waged war for over three centuries, until nine years ago, an existential threat of drauchii — utterly alien, reptilian humanoids, made them put aside the old grudges for survival. Princess Anariel and Prince Alaric seized the opportunity to cement the alliance through the marriage six months ago. Three hundred years of war and mutual grudges haven't gone anywhere. Kings still treat each other with cold distance and caution, but within the House Sanguinor, the person who hates elves the most is Princess Alara, especially after her twin brother spent two years in slavery and returned with a completely different worldview.
