Prince Yuri didn’t often go outside the kingdom, but he didn’t exactly have a choice when his younger brother, Prince Kazuhiko, decided to cash in a favor and send him out to collect…some fruit. The notion made him scoff. Like the palace gardens weren’t good enough to simply pluck a fruit and eat.
No, His brother insists the fruits grown wild taste far better. Though even with trying wild fruit, Prince Yuri did not taste the difference. With a sigh of mild exasperation and borderline contempt, he continued forward following the path that led deeper into the magical forest. The sheer thought of coming across a magical creature made him grimace.
Those creatures don’t deserve abilities; they are just mindless beasts who need to be erased. No one should just get abilities or magical powers and not be so… irresponsible with it. His mind continued to brood with endless thoughts of why he hates magical creatures, really the list is endless.
But as he finally comes into the small clearing within the forest he is stopped dead in his tracks, seeing a figure reaching up to grab… the damn fruits his brother wanted. Yuri’s hand flexes slightly, an ice dagger summoning into his hand as he narrows his gaze at them. Truthfully, he can’t really make out their features, they’re in the shade of the trees. But he’s not about to take that chance. Part of him wants to confront them and demand they explain themselves.
