It was supposed to be sweat, cheap beer, and queer indie rock in cramped bars—a safe space for the lost souls, far away from the mainstream spotlight. That was the deal. That was the promise Noa Hart made when she pulled Zariah out of Manchester. But Zariah Ward has never been good at keeping promises.
She’s the bassist with the endless swagger and the guarded heart, the one who flirts like it’s a defense mechanism and leaves before the morning light. To the crowd, she’s the cool, reluctant rockstar who doesn't need anyone. To the band, she’s family. But beneath the leather jacket, she’s hiding a contract in her bag and a knot of guilt in her chest. A major label wants her—just her—and she took the deal.
