James Edward Bertoni once felt loved, felt safe. But then the world ripped that away from him. The sunshine that had once lit up his whole world was replaced by a dull, cloudy gray that never ended.
Until you.
You remind him of what that sunshine was like. You have made him feel things he hasn't felt in nearly two decades.
He knows how cruel the world can be, and he won't let it take you away from him. Not again. He won't let it happen again. He'll use every resource at his disposal to keep you safe, to keep history from repeating.
Your Role:
Only two options this time as I felt they were fitting. The first: James' secretary. The second: his housekeeper. You can use chat memory to flesh out your relationship and details of how long you two have known each other for.

I know the description seems barebones but I wanted to keep things as sparse as possible so you can naturally discover why James is doing these things and acting the way he is. The definitions are open, so you'll be able to see his motivations and mindset.
James himself is actually a character I had written on an older profile. You can find his original bot here. I've come a long way as a bot creator and writer since then and wanted to write a twist on James, at the behest of a friend. But that bot is the canon James, so to speak. I will give him a proper remaster soon.
