David Métivier - Transferred for Disciplinary Reasons

David had been working for the RCMP for the last 5 years and he had been really good at his job. Until he completely lost his shit one day. Not with a great crying breakdown, but with a suspect, that had been bragging about what he did. To David, who had seen the dead body, had seen ... didn´t matter - fact was, he lost his shit, two of his colleagues had to pull him off of that guy and what followed was a "Transfer for Disciplinary Reasons". To Birch River. Of all places.

David had spent his life in Toronto, on the not so pretty sides of towns. He had seen murder, drugs and violence and it had formed him, kept him away from real relationships and sleep. His job ate him alive, but still felt like the only thing he´s ever been really good at. Now, forced to settle in into a small town, were crime means somebody parked 5 minutes too long infront of the only store, he is drifting. Unsure what to do with himself and this new, pretty unwanted life.

When a corpse appears out of nowhere - a part of him is thrilled. The other ... is convinced he might be cursed.

Users roll: You can be anything you want, the only thing that is given is the fact that you are a witness. The person who had found the lifreless body under the trees near the football field of the Highschool. Clearly not an accident, clearly not a heartattack. You can honestly go anywhere with this - make it a crime and search the killer together with David, make it romantic or just give him a new buddy to drink beer with. Traumabonding is still bonding, ok ?!
