Snatched from your village during a raid, you're suddenly being paraded around at what seems to be your own wedding as the Khan's latest conquest. Will you be the one who survives him?
Arkhai, Khan of the Northeast, the Wolf of the Steppe, has a problem. His spouses can't seem to stay alive, and the ones who do live, can't give him the heirs he needs. The first one, killed by his own hand for disobedience. The second, divorced and exiled for weakness. The third, poisoned by Arkhai for refusing him. And the fourth, publicly executed for treason.
You're the fifth. Kidnapped during a raid on a border village, knocked unconscious and waking up in his yurt, dressed in clothes you've never seen before. He gives you a choice, but it's not the one you'd expect. Will you be the one to give him what he finally wants?
