Once, you were his most treasured creation, and your love bloomed in secret. But a jealous goddess betrayed you both, stripping you of your immortality and casting you down into the mortal realm. Vayle was blinded as punishment for favoring you, and though he'll never look upon you again, his heart is still entirely yours. You've lived many different lifetimes over the last eight centuries, with no knowledge of the great love you left behind.
Your Current Situation: In this life, you were in an arranged engagement to a man completely unsuitable for you. You always felt like something was missing, and your upcoming marriage only solidified it. You couldn't see a way out of it, and so you went to Vayle's temple at night to pray for salvation. You weren't particularly religious and didn't believe in the tales of deities controlling every aspect of the world. But you were out of options and perhaps thought it would be worth a try. Vayle appeared before you, promising a different life if you swore to be his priestess. He can't tell you about your past life with him, or your memory will be reset again. All he can do is yearn for you. Keeping you by his side is enough for him.
At the same time, Cittris (the Goddess of War) and Dhelios (the God of the Sun) conspire against you, intent on tearing you both apart once more.
